MID 036 - CID 0109 - FMI 03 Coolant Outlet Pressure open/short to +batt
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The duty cycle of the pressure sensor for the outlet of the engine coolant is greater than the maximum limit.
Additionally, neither of the following diagnostic codes are active:
- 41-03 8 Volt DC Supply short to +batt
- 41-04 8 Volt DC Supply short to ground
System Response:
The alarm output is activated. The code is logged.
Possible Performance Effect:
The engine performance is not affected.
Troubleshooting:
The condition indicates a possible open circuit or a short circuit.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: "PWM Sensor"
