An Improved Grease Line Application is Now Used on Certain Mini Hydraulic Excavators {7510}

Usage:

Mini Hydraulic Excavator: 303.5E2 (S/N: BG81-871; JWY1-1478); 304E2 (S/N: CJ21-696; ME41-1608); 305.5E2 (S/N: CR51-1832; EJX1-1366); 305E2 (S/N: H5M1-2405); 305E2 CR (S/N: DJX1-1623)

Description Of Change: An improved grease line application is now used that will decrease the chances of hose failure on certain Mini Hydraulic Excavators. Decreased gaps in the cylinder bore due to oversized cylinder pins may cause high back pressure when applying grease. The new grease application reduces the pressure to a limit of 3447 kPa (500 psi). For manual grease guns, the application pressure can be controlled by reducing the speed at which the lever is actuated. The new application pressure limit reduces the chances of boom swing cylinder grease line failure.

Adaptable To: The improved grease line application is adaptable to the machines within the listed serial numbers, and is effective with all the machines after the listed serial numbers.

Replace failed grease line hoses with the same parts. Refer to Table 1 for the required part numbers.
