A new VR6 Voltage Regulator is available as a service replacement for the serial numbers that are listed above. The 202-8638 Voltage Regulator Gp is a direct replacement for the following voltage regulators:

• 149-6130 Voltage Regulator Gp

• 155-3820 Voltage Regulator As

• 155-3822 Voltage Regulator As

• 155-3825 Voltage Regulator As

The 202-8638 Voltage Regulator Gp is improved in the following ways:

• adjustable knee voltage

• more flexible adjustment

• supports self-excited generators and permanent magnet generators (a jumper is used to distinguish between the two)

• smaller in size
