"MAIN POWER DISCONNECT" Switch

The "MAIN POWER DISCONNECT" Switch (1) is a two-position toggle switch. The switch controls the power to the electrical system.

"DIAGNOSTIC LAMP"

The "DIAGNOSTIC LAMP" is used to indicate the existence of an active fault by flashing codes.

A fault diagnostic code will remain active until the problem is repaired. The electronic control module will continue flashing the flash code at five second intervals until the problem is repaired. Refer to this Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Diagnostic Flash Code Retrieval" for additional information.

Service Hour Meter

The Service Hour Meter (3) indicates the total operating hours of the deck engine. Use the display to determine the service hour maintenance intervals.

"REMOTE/LOCAL" Switch

The "REMOTE/LOCAL" Switch (4) is a two-position toggle switch. This switch serves as the remote control switch for the engine. The "REMOTE" position allows the engine to be controlled from a remote location (customer option). The "LOCAL" position allows the engine to be controlled from this junction box.

"ENGINE RPM INC/DEC" Switch

The "ENGINE RPM INC/DEC" switch (5) is a three-position toggle switch. The "RPM INC" position and the "RPM DEC" position are momentary contact positions. This switch controls the engine's rpm. When the switch is placed in the "RPM INC" position and the switch is held in the "RPM INC" position, the engine's speed will increase. When the switch is placed in the "RPM DEC" position and the switch is held in the "RPM DEC" position, the engine speed will decrease.

"ENGINE START/RUN/KILL" Switch

The "ENGINE START/RUN/KILL" switch (6) is a three-position toggle switch. The START position will momentarily establish contact. The other two switch positions maintain contact.

When the switch is placed in the START position and the switch is held in the START position, the engine will start. If the switch is placed in the downward "KILL" position, fuel to the engine will be shut off, and the engine will shut down. The "ENGINE START/RUN/KILL" switch should remain in the "KILL" position when the engine is not running.
