Diagnostic tools are needed in order to troubleshoot the following components: Thermocouples, Transducers, Contactors and The Engine Speed Switch. The tooling should be capable of simulating the sensors and reading the sensors. The tooling is needed for servicing of the engine speed switch. Multimeters aid in the isolation of open circuits and the isolation of short circuits.

• The Fluke 741B Process Calibration is desired. 163-0096 Diagnostic and Calibration Tool

• The 4C-4029 Adjusting Tool

• The Fluke 87 9U-7330 Digital Multimeter

• The Caterpillar Multimeter is also acceptable. 6V-7070 Digital Multimeter

• Power Supply

• Thermocouple Module 80TK is for reading thermocouples.

• Immersion Probe 80PK2A can be used with self-sealing adapters.

A Carrier-Oehler Calibration Pump is used in order to calibrate the setup for the alarms. The pump is also used in order to calibrate the shutdown setup.
