Usage:
Start By:
a. remove vibration damper and pulley
NOTE: The engine shown is mounted on an OTC, Model 1750A, Engine Repair Stand. If the engine is not on a repair stand, it will be necessary to remove the bolts that hold front support (7) to the base assembly of the enclosure. Then block the engine in a position so front support (7) is off the base assembly.
1. Remove bolt (1), bolt (4), and spacer (6). Remove belt tightener assembly (2).
2. Remove two bolts (3) and six bolts (5). Remove front support (7).
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the front support.
3. Put front support (7) in position on the engine. Install two bolts (3) and six bolts (5).
4. Put belt tightener assembly (2) in position on the engine. Install bolt (1), bolt (4), spacer (6), the nut, and the washer.
