Recommended operating pressure ... 13500 kPa to 16000 kPa (1958 psi to 2320 psi)

Note: The operating pressure of the hammer will vary with the amount of back pressure, input flow, and the hardness of the material. The operating pressure of the hammer will be lower during operation against a harder material such as a steel plate. The operating pressure of the hammer will be higher during operation against a softer material such as rock or concrete.

Note: Operating pressure must be tested after the installation of the hammer onto the host machine. Refer to the Service Manual, "Pressure Control Valve (Operating Pressure) - Test and Adjust".

Note: Lubricate the moving parts and the seals with clean hydraulic fluid during assembly.

Note: Measure the free length of spring (4) while spool (5) is seated vertically on spring (4), and spring guide (6). Do not install valve housing (2).
