Engine Air Filter Service Indicator - Inspect

Service the air cleaner only with the engine stopped. Engine damage could result if the air cleaner is serviced while the engine is running. |

- Open the engine access door.
- Start the engine.
- Run the engine at high idle.
- If the piston in the engine air filter service indicator enters the red zone, service the air cleaner.
- Stop the engine.
Note: See the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Air Filter Element - Clean/Replace".
- Close the engine access door.
