Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to valve assembly (11). The weight of valve assembly (11) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Install valve assembly (11) .

- Install cover (13) and bolts (12) .
- Connect tube assembly (8). Connect hose assemblies (10), (9), (7), and (6) .

- Install bracket (5) .

- Install covers (4) and (3), handholds (2), and door assembly (1) .

- Remove Tooling (A). Install the cap onto the hydraulic tank.

- Fill the hydraulic system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check". Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".
