Air Cleaner - Remove and Install

Usage:

312C L CBA

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the left, rear door on the machine.

  1. Release two clips (1), and remove cover assembly (2) .

  1. Remove primary element (3) .

  1. Remove secondary element (4) .

  1. Loosen two hose clamps (5), and remove hose (6). Disconnect two electrical connectors (7), and cut the tie strap for the wiring harness.

  1. Loosen clamp (8), and remove bolts (9). Remove the air cleaner housing.

  1. Remove seal (10) from the cover assembly.

Installation Procedure

Note: Check the seal and hoses for wear and for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

  1. Install seal (10) in the cover assembly.

  1. Place the air cleaner housing in position on the machine. Install bolts (9) in order to fasten the air cleaner housing to the machine. Tighten clamp (8) .

  1. Connect hose (6) to the air cleaner housing. Tighten clamp (5). Attach electrical connectors (7) .

  1. Install secondary element (4) .

  1. Install primary element (3) .

  1. Install cover assembly (2), and engage clips (1) .

  1. Close the left, rear door.
