Put engine oil on bolt and bore for seal installation.
(2) Torque for four nuts ... 32 ± 5 lb. ft.(4.4 ± 0.7 mkg)
(3) 8M3182 Spring for bypass valves for the oil cooler and filter
Length under test force ... 2.5 in.(63.5 mm)
Test force ... 8.92 lb.(40.5 kg)
Free length after test ... 3.61 in.(91.7 mm)
Outside diameter ... .81 in.(20.6 mm)
