Ensure that the machinery will not operate when this maintenance is performed. Attach a "DO NOT OPERATE" tag or similar warning tag to the controls before performing maintenance or repairs.

Grease fitting on the clutch

Two grease fittings are located on the engine side of the clutch. The grease fittings are diametrically opposed. Lubricate each grease fitting with approximately 44 mL (1.5 oz) of Multipurpose Lithium Complex Grease (MPGM) or equivalent. If MPGM is not used, use a multipurpose grease that contains three to five percent molybdenum.
