New brake seal in the axle group is now available for the machines listed above. The new seal will speed up the axle assembly process.

The new O-Ring seal (1) are made up of same NBR material as the prior backup ring (B) and O-Ring seal (C).

The prior design consists of O-Ring seal (B) and backup ring (C) are interchangeable with the new single anti-twist O-Ring seal (1) as there are no changes on brake piston groove dimensions. The former design can continue to be used for any repairs and is still available to purchase.

Installation of the new anti-twist seal is recommended if a twisted O-Ring seal has been found during disassembly and/or in case of repetitive O-Ring seal failures.

Note: When assembling the prior backup ring and O-Ring seal, check that the O-Ring seal is towards the higher pressure compartment.

Refer to Table 1 for the prior and improved seal part numbers.

To find the axle model number, find the axle serial number plate on the axle and refer to field number 1 as shown in Illustration 4.
