The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
Users have noted that on Product Link (PL) web, diagnostic fault codes appearing on an engine at or near the same time are recorded with date and time stamps that are vastly different from each other.
31-July: J1180-4 and J430-5 Codes from MID 263 having occurred 10 minutes apart (12:20:53) according to Date/Time stamp in PL web, however the hours are having Offset (9647.8, 9598.2).
08-Aug: J1180-4 and J430-5 Codes from MID 263 that occurred at the same time (16:30:50), but engine hours are vastly different (9683.9, 9598.2).
Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem and the correction of this issue should be to update to the latest 2017 Endurance ( 544-1145 Monitor Software Gp) firmware.
