(8) Emergency Stop Push Button (ESPB)

(9) Voltage Adjust Rheostat (VAR)

Each EMCP II is directly related to a Chart Print. The Chart Print contains the possible options and the model number description of the EMCP II. The model number is located on a nameplate which is attached to the inside floor of the control panel. The Chart Print also contains the setpoint values that are necessary in order to program the setpoints. The applicable Chart Print is packaged within the enclosure of each EMCP II.

There are two Chart Prints for EMCP II that are used on MUI engines.

  • The 103-1582 Control Panel Chart is the earlier version of EMCP II. The enclosure does not have provisions for a second alarm module (6) .

  • The 129-4053 Control Panel Chart is the later version of EMCP II. The enclosure is extended and the enclosure has provisions for a second alarm module (6) .

Most components of the EMCP II are located on the instrument panel or the subpanel. Other components of the EMCP II exist near the engine: engine oil pressure sensor (EOPS), engine coolant temperature sensor (ECTS), fuel solenoid (FS), magnetic speed pickup (MPU) and engine coolant loss sensor (ECLS) (optional).
