A New Plate Assembly for the Belt Guard Is Now Used on 730C and 730C EJECTOR Articulated Truck {1357, 7174}

Description of Change: A new plate assembly for the belt guard is now used on the machines listed in this article. This improvement will make the plate more durable as the material used in the new component has an increased stress fatigue limit.
Adaptable To: The 474-5055 Plate As will replace the 450-8418 Bracket As.
The effectivity for this change is listed in Table 1.
Required parts to complete this improvement are listed in Table 2.

(1) 8T-4648 Bolt (2) 3S-2093 Cable Straps (3) Bolts to be torqued to 28 ± 7 N·m (20 ± 5 lb ft) | |
Add Loctite 243 to bolt (1) and torque to 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft). Install three cable straps (2). Torque bolts (3) to 28 ± 7 N·m (20 ± 5 lb ft)
