794 AC Off-Highway Truck Systems Caterpillar

Fast Fill System

Usage:

794 AC MN5

Introduction

The 794 AC Off-Highway Trucks utilize the "Fast Fill Service System". The "Fast Fill Service System" is designed to keep dirt and mud from contaminating the fluid systems. The system minimizes fluid loss during disconnection. The control box for the "Fast Fill Service System" is mounted on the left side of the front bumper of the machine. The control box includes five fluid fill ports. The operator or the service personnel will connect the couplings to these ports. Each port corresponds to the eight fluids that are serviced by the system.

Features

  • Quick fill cycle

  • Reduced chance of spills

  • Reduced chance of fluid contamination

  • Reduced fuel foaming which results in a full tank and longer engine run time between refueling

  • Reduced downtime and increased productivity

  • Reduced chance of injury

  • Refills at ground level

The "Fast Fill Service Station" is on the left side of the machine near the front bumper. The "Coolant/Water Fast Fill" line is routed along the inside front bumper to the bottom of the radiator group. The "Engine Oil Fast Fill" line runs under the engine to the oil pan. The hydraulic oil fill line runs to the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank. The auto lubrication fill file runs up to the left side platform behind the cab and connects to the auto lubrication system.

The fast fill service station is the fill point for the system. The service station has four fill points, and two switches controlling the auto lubrication system. The toggle switch (7) controls the auto lubrication fast fill system. When the auto lubrication tank is full, the push to test / full light (8) will illuminate.
