  6. Remove the bracket from the lift arm crossmember.

  7. Remove the lever from the Tilt Linkage Position Sensor.

  8. Remove the Tilt Linkage Position Sensor from the bracket.

    NOTICE

The position sensor can be damaged if too much force is applied against the internal stops of the sensor. Be careful when removing the position sensor lever or rotating the shaft attached to the sensor.

  9. Install the new Tilt Linkage Position Sensor on the bracket.

  10. Install the lever on the new Tilt Linkage Position Sensor.

  11. Install the bracket on the lift arm crossmember.

  12. Connect the harness connector to the sensor connector. Install the outer cover plate.

  13. The Tilt Linkage Position Sensor must be calibrated before the machine is returned to use.

Adjustment Procedure

Reference: For the correct procedure in order to calibrate the Tilt Linkage Position Sensor, refer to Testing and Adjusting, KENR5566, "Calibrations (Cat ET)" for the correct calibration procedure.
