Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock.

Note: Front guard (1) may contain a significant amount of rock, dirt, liquids, and debris, which will result in significant additional weight.

1. Position Tooling (A) and suitable cribbing under front guard (1). Raise Tooling (A) until Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing contacts front guard (1). The weight of front guard (1) is approximately 226 kg (500 lb).

2. Remove three bolts (2) (not shown) and bolts (3).

3. Remove bolt (4) and the washer.

4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the opposite side.
   Show/hide table

   Do not lower the bottom guard while under the machine. Injury could occur if the bottom guard slips off of the jack while it is being lowered.

5. Use Tooling (A) in order to carefully lower front guard (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install front guard (1) in the reverse order of removal.
