Muffler - Remove and Install
Installation Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool. |
 |
- Install the truck body retaining cables. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cable (Truck Body Retaining)".
- Attach Tooling (A) and suitable lifting devices to muffler (1). The weight of muffler (3) is approximately 73 kg (160 lb).

- Remove U-bolt (2) .

- Remove U-bolt (3) .

- Remove muffler (1) .
- Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for the remaining muffler.
Installation Procedure
- Install muffler (1) in the reverse order of removal.
