The control manifold contains the main relief valve (6), the secondary steering system relief valve (7). Main relief valve (6) will limit the peak pressure in the circuit and protect the system from a sudden rise in pressure. Secondary steering relief valve (7) will open preventing the secondary steering system oil pressure from rising too high.
Reference: For more information on the relief valve settings, refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Test and Adjust".
The control manifold also contains a pressure reducing valve (5). The pressure reducing valve regulates the pressure for the pilot system for the implements, steering, and centershift lock.

Also contained in the control manifold is two pressure test ports (1) and (9), the Scheduled Oil Sampling port (3), and pump pressure sensor port (8). Pressure test port (9) will indicate the oil pressure from the piston pump for the implement and steering. Pressure test port (1) will indicate the oil pressure in the pilot system for the implements.

Oil enters the manifold at pump inlet port (11). Oil will flow from pump inlet port (11) to pump pressure test port (9), pressure reducing valve (5), and main relief valve (6). When the pressure is too high, main relief valve (6) will open. The oil will be sent back to the hydraulic tank through port (4). Pressure reducing valve (5) will close when the pilot circuit is up to operating pressure.
