A New Dump Body is Now Used on Certain 773E Off-Highway Trucks {7258}

Off-Highway Truck/Tractor: 773E (S/N: ASK1-UP)

Description of Change: A new design change to the front bolsters and the bottom rail extension will reduce the stress concentration. A new Special Instruction is now available that contains the inspection and repair procedure for the 137-7156 Dual Slope Body .

ReferenceSpecial Instruction, REHS8759, "Procedure for the Inspection and Repair of the Dump Body on Certain 773E Off-Highway Trucks".The special instruction can be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS) and through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat dealer.

Adaptable To: The new 434-5300 Truck Body (Dump Body) is a direct replacement for the former 137-7156 Dual Slope Body.
