  1. Install retainer ring (49) , retainer (50) , spring (51) , and retainer (50) on spool (52) .

  1. Install spool (52) in valve (44) .

  1. Install stop (48) in valve (44) .

  1. Install O-ring seal (47) .

  1. Install the bolts and cover (46) on valve (44) .

  1. Install the O-rings on plugs (45) . Install two plugs (45) in plate (12) .

  1. Install plate (12) on valve (44) .

  1. Install retaining ring (41) , retainer (42) , spring (43) , and retainer (42) on spool (40) .

  1. Install retainer (37) , spring (36) , and ball (35) on spool (33) . Install retainer ring (38) .

  1. Install slug (34) in spool (33) .

  1. Install spool (33) in valve (11) .

  1. Install spacer (30) in the inside diameter of piston (29) .

  1. Invert valve (11) .

  1. Install slug (28) in spool (25) .

  1. Install spring (27) in valve (11) .

  1. Install spool (25) in valve (11) .

  1. Use a screwdriver to depress spool (25) slightly. Use a soft faced hammer to drive pin (26) into valve (11) .

  1. Install retainer (22) , spring (23) , and spring (24) on spool (20) . Install retainer ring (21) .

  1. Install spring (19) and spool (20) in valve (11) .

  1. Install two retainers (17) and spring (18) . Install retainer ring (16) .

  1. Install spool (15) and stop (14) in valve (11) .

  1. Place the O-ring on valve (11) . Place cover (13) on valve (11) . Install the bolts that hold cover (13) .

  1. Install valve (11) on plate (12) .

  1. Install manifold (6) on valve (11) .

  1. Install bolts (9) in manifold (6) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m (22 ± 3 lb ft).

  1. Install the O-ring seal on plug (10) . Install plug (10) in manifold (6) .

  1. Install two connectors (8) on manifold (6) .

  1. Place manifold (3) and wiring harness (7) on manifold (6) .

  1. Install bolts (5) that hold manifold (3) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m (22 ± 3 lb ft).

  1. Install the bolts in the clamps that hold wiring harness (7) .

  1. Perform the following steps in order to assemble the solenoids.

    1. Install cartridge (1) in manifold (3) . Tighten the cartridge to a torque of 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft).

    1. Install coil assembly (2) , the washer, and the nut on cartridge (1) . Tighten the nut to a torque of 9 ± .5 N·m (80 ± 4 lb in).

    1. Install electrical connector (4) in the support clip.

    1. Repeat Step 35.a through Step 35.c for the remaining solenoid valves.

End By: Install the transmission hydraulic control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Install".
