Improved Turbocharger Bearing Kit Available For Parts Service{1053}

An improved 1P5467 Turbocharger Bearing Kit (same part number) is available for parts service. The former kit allowed the center feed oil supply to treat the bearings as pistons, pushing them apart and causing the ends to wear. The improved bearing kit contains two grooved bearings. The bearings allow oil to flow at an increased rate to the thrust plate thus reducing temperatures and carbon formation in the center housing. This change will provide longer bearing service life.
