(1) Torque for the clamp nut for the exhaust elbow (if equipped) ... 14 ± 3 N·m (10 ± 2 lb.ft.)

NOTE: Some exhaust elbows have one clamp around each end.

(2) Plugs. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the plugs and tighten them to torque as follows:

Plugs with 1/4" - 18 NPTF threads ... 25 N·m (20 lb.ft.)

Plugs with 3/8" - 18 NPTF threads ... 35 N·m (25 lb.ft.)

Plugs with 1/2" - 14 NPTF threads ... 45 N·m (35 lb.ft.)

NOTE: Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of all studs, bolts and nuts for the exhaust manifolds, couplings, elbows, and turbocharger support, where they become very hot.
