Exhaust Cooler (NRS) - Remove and Install

- Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Coolant - Change" for the proper draining and filling procedures.

Illustration 1 g02730950 - Loosen clamp assembly (5) and remove bolts (1). Remove tube (4).
- Remove tube assemblies (2), (3), (6), and (7). Remove any clips and clamps.

Illustration 2 g02731022 - Position harness assembly (12) out of the way.
- Disconnect tube assembly (8) and the adapter.
- Loosen clamp assembly (10) and remove bolts (9) and (14). Remove NRS exhaust cooler (11) and O-ring seal (13).
- Install exhaust cooler (11) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (A) to O-ring seal (13).
- Tighten clamp assembly (10) to a torque of
7.5 ± 1 N·m (66 ± 9 lb in) . - Tighten clamp assembly (5) to a torque of
8.5 ± 2 N·m (75 ± 18 lb in) .
