Introduction

The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

The 235-2484 Lip Type Seal is used in the 7G-1150 Transfer Gear Gp and the 236-4192 Transfer Gear Gp . Reports have been received from the field of leaks from the 235-2484 Lip Type Seal .

The 7G-1150 Transfer Gear Gp is used on the S/N:BZZ and ; S/N:RLB machines. The 236-4192 Transfer Gear Gp is used on the S/N:EED and ; S/N:DLS machines.

Solution

A root cause has not yet been found for the leaks. Parts are needed for analysis. An "Auto-Parts Return Send-it Back" program has been created to get parts for analysis.
