Seal Carrier
Usage:
(1) Cover. Use the following procedure to install the cover:
a. On cover joint-face, clean face with 8T9011 Component Cleaner and apply 6V1541 Quick Cure Primer.
b. Allow primer to air dry (three to five minutes).
c. Apply 1U8846 Gasket Maker to cover joint-face and spread uniformly.
NOTE: DO NOT allow sealant to plug the oil passage in the block mounting face.
d. Cover must be assembled and tightened to the block within ten minutes.
(2) Bolts. Apply 9S3263 Sealant to threads.
