Link Assemblies (Upper) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".
- Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining rings (1). Remove retaining rings (1) and washers (2) .

- Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (3). The weight of tilt cylinder (3) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb). Remove link assembly (5) and pin (4) .

- Lower tilt cylinder (3) onto the loader frame. Remove the suitable lifting device.
- Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (6). Remove retaining ring (6) and washer (7). Remove link assembly (8) .

- Remove pin (10) .

- Remove pin (9) and link assembly (11) .
- Use Tooling (B) in order to remove bearings (12) and (13) .

Installation Procedure

- Use Tooling (B) in order to install bearings (12) and (13) .

- Position link assembly (11) and install pin (9). Install pin (10) .

- Install link assembly (8). Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (6). Install washer (7) and retaining ring (6).

- Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (3). The weight of tilt cylinder (3) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb). Position tilt cylinder (3) and install pin (4). Install link assembly (5) .

Note: Use washers (2) in order to obtain a 1.00 ± 0.50 mm (0.039 ± 0.020 inch) gap.
