Sensor - Adjust - Rotation Sensor

- Ensure that the following conditions are met:
- The rotation sensor is positioned on the mounting plate.
- The blade is perpendicular to the machine.
- From the "Configuration" menu, press the arrow keys until "Diagnostics" is highlighted on the LCD.
- Press the "OK" key.
The "Diagnostics" menu will appear.
- From the "Diagnostics" menu, press the arrow keys until "Sensor Data" is highlighted on the LCD.
- Press the "OK" key.
The "Sensor Data" menu will appear.
- Press the arrow keys in order to select the rotation sensor.
- Proceed with a full sensor calibration if the following conditions are met:
- The rotation angle is within ±32 degrees of zero degrees.
- The sensor is within a specification.
Refer to Systems Operation, Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjusting, KENR6333, "Full Sensor - Calibrate" for additional information.
- If the rotation angle is greater than 32 degrees remove the rotation sensor from the mounting plate.
Note: Do not disconnect the machine harness from the sensor.

Refer to Illustration 3.
- Position the drive arm for the sensor, so that it covers the seal screw. Use a small flat head screwdriver in order to rotate the shaft until the display reads zero.
- Tighten the allen head screw on the drive arm for the sensor. Recheck the reading.
- Repeat Step 9 through Step 13 until the sensor is adjusted to ±32 degrees.
- Reattach the rotation sensor to the swivel lid.
