  1. Place one end of a 4 foot straight edge against the vertical edge of the blade slope sensor.

  2. Hang a plumb bob off the other end of the straight edge.

  3. Measure the horizontal distance from the blade to the string line of the plumb bob. Note the measurement.

  4. Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 for the other side of the blade.

  5. Subtract the two measurements.

The result should be less than 12.7 mm (0.5 inch).

If the result is greater than 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) proceed to Step 6. Otherwise, the blade slope sensor is properly mounted.

  6. Loosen the bolts on the blade slope sensor.

  7. Rotate the blade slope sensor in the direction that is needed.

  8. Tighten the bolts.

  9. Recheck the measurements.

If the result is greater than 12.7 mm (0.5 inch), proceed to Step 10.

Otherwise, the blade slope sensor is properly mounted.

  10. Remove the bracket for the blade slope sensor. Reweld the bracket.

Note: The fore/aft pitch of the bracket must be within 3 degrees of the fore/aft pitch of the platform (circle).
