An improved air starting motor is now used on the 793D. The 263-7751 Air Starting Motor Gp has increased reliability and durability. The 4W-6634 Air Starting Motor Gp is no longer used with this application.
Use the following instructions to install the 263-7751 Air Starting Motor Gp .

Removal of the 4W-6634 Air Starting Motor

- Disconnect hose assembly (1) from starting motor (2) .
- Disconnect hose assembly (1) from tee (3) in the fuel return line.
Note: The 230-1096 Hose As is not needed for the new starting motor.
- Close off the open port in tee (3) with a 6V-9830 Cap As .
- Disconnect hose assembly (4), hose assembly (5) and hose assembly (6) from starting motor (2) .

- Remove starting motor (2) from the engine.
- Clean any gasket material from the flywheel housing.
Installation of the 263-7751 Air Starting Motor Gp
- Install a 217-3882 Hose As in place of hose assembly (6) .
Note: 147-7839 Hose As is not needed for the new starting motor.
- Install elbow (8) into starting motor (7) .

- Install pipe connector (9) onto elbow (8) .
- Install the starting motor (7) onto the engine with 9Y-6089 Gasket between the starting motor and the flywheel housing. Use three 6I-6123 Spacers and three 9X-8881 Bolts to secure the motor.
Torque the bolts to 215 ± 40 N·m (159 ± 30 lb ft).
- Attach hose assembly (10) to the inlet port on starting motor (7) .

- Attach hose assembly (4) to the control port next to the flywheel housing.
- Attach hose assembly (5) to the control port farthest from the flywheel housing.
