  1. Attach Tooling (D) to transmission assembly (31). The weight of transmission assembly (31) is approximately 255 kg (562 lb).

  1. Use Tooling (D) in order to install transmission assembly (31) .

  1. Remove cable strap (37) from drive plate (38) for the converter.

  1. Install bolts (34) .

  1. Install mounts (40) and (43) to each side of transmission assembly (31). Install mounting bolts (39) and (44). Install bolts (42) and (46) and install nuts (41) and (45) .

    Note: Make sure that the holes for bolts (36) are clean and free of oil.

  1. Rotate flywheel (35) in order to install bolts (36) .

  1. Install cover (33) and bolts (32).

  1. Install the transmission oil filter. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil Filter - Replace".

  1. Install hose (30) to the hydraulic oil tank and install clamp (29). Connect hose assembly (28) .

  1. Move transmission filler tube (25) into position and install clip (27) .

  1. Install bolts (26) that retain transmission filler tube (25) .

  1. Connect clip (24) .

  1. Position manifold (23). Install bolts (21) .

  1. Connect harness assembly (18). Install a new cable strap (19) .

  1. Connect hose assemblies (20) and (22) .

    Note: Hose assemblies (20) and (22) were installed with the transmission.

  1. Connect hose assembly (16) to the right side of the transmission. Connect hose assembly (17) to the left side of the transmission.

  1. Install solenoids (11) and (15) and install the plungers. Install nuts (12) and (14). Connect harness assembly (13) .

  1. Connect harness assemblies (8), (9), and (10) .

  1. Connect harness assemblies (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), and (7) .

  1. Use Tooling (D) in order to remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (C) .

    Note: Do not remove Tooling (A) from the front axle.

  1. Install the front drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Front) - Remove and Install".

  1. Install the rear drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Front) - Remove and Install".

  1. Install the piston pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump - Install".

  1. Fill the transmission with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil - Change".

  1. Use Tooling (D) in order to remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). Lower the machine to the ground.
