The axle and the drum on the machines are driven by hydraulic pumps and motors.
The drum drive system consists of the following components:
- Piston type pump
- Two speed piston type motor
- Planetary gear reducer
The planetary gear reducer has an integral spring applied, hydraulically released brake.
The axle drive consists of the following components:
- Piston type pump
- Two speed piston type motor
- Axle with a limited slip differential
- Planetary gear reducer for each wheel
The axle can be equipped with an optional a spring applied, hydraulically released brake for each wheel. The steering pump and the fan pump supply charge oil to the propulsion system.
