All of the controls in the propel system are electric. These controls provide the necessary data and power signals to the machine control modules, relays, sensors, and solenoids.
The following electrical components are part of the propel control system:
- Backup alarm (1)
- Circuit breaker panel (2)
- Right console (3)
- Instrument panel (4)
- Machine ECM compartment (5)
- Front wheel speed sensor (6)
- Front steering angle sensor (7)
- Engine ECM (8)
Circuit breaker panel (2) houses the rotor service switch and the following circuit breakers:
- "CB7"
- "CB8"
- "CB12"
- "CB13"
- "CB15"
Right console (3) contains the speed dial and the propel lever.
The following components are located on the right side of the instrument panel:
- Parking brake switch
- Front propel motor shift switch
- Throttle switch
- Load control switch
- Rotor control switch
- Traction control switch
- The rear wheel assist switch
The display control panel is located on the left side of the instrument panel.
Machine ECM compartment (5) contains the following components:
- Machine ECM
- Fan control module
- Backup relay
- Throttle relay
- Limp home switches
Note: Switches, electrical devices, and control logic that pertain to rear wheel drive are only present on machines equipped with the optional all wheel drive system.
