(1) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the twenty-four 8I-0212 Studs.

(2) Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the thirty-two 8I-0184 Adjustment Nuts.

(3) Tighten 1K-6872 Locknuts in order to achieve a spring height of 52 ± 2 mm (2.05 ± 0.08 inch).

Typical Screed Plate Group

(4) Apply a bead of 250-1252 Grease to the four ends of the elements prior to installing the screed plate.

(5) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the threads of the five studs.

(6) Apply a bead of 250-1252 Grease along the surface of the elements that come in contact with the screed plate.
