Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock.

2. Release the hydraulic system pressure.

Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.

1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

2. Remove cover plate (1).

3. Remove protector (2) from brake accumulator (3).

4. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to brake accumulator (3). The weight of brake accumulator (3) is approximately 29 kg (64 lb).

5. Disconnect hose assembly (4) and tube assembly (6).

6. Remove fitting (5).

7. Remove bolts (7) and the washers.

8. Remove bracket (8).
   Show/hide table

9. Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove brake accumulator (3).

10. Repeat Steps 3 through 7 and Step 9 in order to remove brake accumulator (9).
