Default Settings for Utility Multifunction Relay

Usage:

PMG3516 KAD
The following illustrations provide information about the default settings for the utility malfunction relay.

The areas of the dialogs that are within the red dotted outline are the default settings that must be used.

Note: Any other protection tab that is not listed is disabled.

Note: If custom settings are used in the UMR, first create and then save a settings file of the default settings. Store the settings so that the settings can easily be restored at the conclusion of the custom settings requirement.

The XQ power module may be equipped a UMR. The BE1- IPS100 was used with early serial numbers. The BE1- IPS100 was replaced by the BE1-11i on later serial numbers.

Note: Either UMR can be programmed in the field from the front panel or by a laptop. Either BestComms BE1-IPS-100 software or BestComms+ BE1-11i software must be used. Both versions of the software are available from the Basler website at "www.basler.com".

Refer to the "Instruction Manual for UMR BE1-IPS-100 Utility Multifunction Relay" or the "Instruction Manual for UMR BE1-11i Utility Multifunction Relay" for troubleshooting purposes. The publications can be found at the Basler website at "www.basler.com".
