Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Disconnect harness assembly (1) from engine oil pressure sensor (2).
- Remove engine oil pressure sensor (2) and the O-ring seal.

- Install the O-ring seal on engine oil pressure sensor (2).
- Install engine oil pressure sensor (2). Tighten engine oil pressure sensor (2) to a torque of
10 ± 2 N·m (88 ± 18 lb in) . - Connect harness assembly (1) onto engine oil pressure sensor (2).

Note: Check the O-ring seal for wear or for damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring seal.
