Hotkeys
Hotkeys allow you to command UPS View to perform various functions without having to access menus or use the computer mouse.
Standalone hotkeys let you command UPS View to perform various functions without having to press and hold the Control (Cntrl) key or Alternate (Alt) key.
- B = Silence Display Buzzer
- \ = Enable Printing of Startup Errors
Control (Cntrl) and Alternate (Alt) Hotkeys
The "Cntl" hotkey allows you to command UPS View to perform the following functions by pressing the "Cntl" key plus an alpha or symbol key.
- Control + H = Show Hotkeys
- Control + A = Send Tile defs
- Control + _ = Send Op Params
- Control + P = Clear Password
- Control + O = Enter Online Mode
- Control + B = Enter Bypass Mode
- Control + S = Enter Bypass Spindown Mode
- Control + X = Brake Rotor
- Control + N = Show Revision Info
- Control + Z = Dump Setpoints
- Control + D = Download Event Log
- Control + J = Show Diagnostic data
- Control + G = Dump IGBT Currents
- Control + \ = Show Bypass Status
- Control + Y = Read Modem Configuration
- Control + R = Reset the Processor
- Control + F = Get Password Seed and Serial Number
- Control + W = Toggle Modem Hook Status
The "Alt" hotkey allows you to command UPS View to perform the following functions by pressing the "Alt" key plus an alpha or symbol key.
- ALT + R = Enter Regulation Only mode
- ALT + S = Enter AVR Spin-down Mode
- ALT + Z = Report Non-default Op Params
- ALT + G = AVR Demand FPGA Reading
- ALT + T = Show Telemetry and Status Registers
- ALT + U = Show B-N (or Ground) Voltage
- ALT + I = EPO Switch Status
- ALT + J = Show Ethernet Statistics
- ALT + N = Toggle Show Notification Debug
- ALT + P = Cancel Paging
- ALT + E = Ethernet Loopback Test
This command brings up the "About UPS View" window. The version number, serial number, and the IP address or ComPort is displayed in the window.
