Battery - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Standard Batteries
- Open door (1) .

- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

- Remove knobs (2) and remove cover (3) .

- Remove nuts (4) and bolts (9). Disconnect cables (7) and (8). Remove support (6) and remove batteries (5). The weight of each battery is approximately 39 kg (85 lb). Each battery should be lifted by two people.

Cold Weather Battery Package
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

- Open door (1) .

- Release rubber latches (2) and open lid (3) .

Installation Procedure

- Position batteries (5) and position support (6). Install nuts (4) and bolts (9). Connect cables (7) and (8). The weight of each battery is approximately 39 kg (85 lb). Each battery should be lifted by two people.
