Cooling of the Air Compressor

Usage:

Air that flows through the engine compartment of the vehicle aids in cooling the air compressor. The cylinder head of the air compressor is cooled with coolant from the engine.

A line is connected from the engine cooling system to the cylinder head of the air compressor. The coolant flows through the cylinder head.

The coolant returns to the engine through a line that connects to the cylinder head of the air compressor and routes to the engine cooling system.

Illustration 1 and illustration 2 show the proper connections. The coolant may flow in either direction.
