Step 8 of the procedure is incorrect. Replace Step 8 with the following information.
- Start the engine. Run the engine without the filler caps. Run the engine until the thermostat opens and the coolant level stabilizes. This should purge the air from the system. Check the coolant level.

Note: If you are using Caterpillar antifreeze, do not add the supplemental coolant additive at this time and/or change the element at this time.
