Right side view of the inside of the frame assembly (2) Low oil pressure switch for the steering pump |
Low oil pressure switch (2) will monitor the output of the steering piston pump. High oil pressure switch (1) will monitor the accumulator pressure.
Low oil pressure switch (2) is mounted on the frame assembly above the accumulator charging valve. High oil pressure switch (1) is mounted at the bottom of one of the steering accumulators.
Low oil pressure switch (2) for the steering pump will warn the operator when the pressure in the steering system drops below the deactuation pressure of the pressure switch. High oil pressure switch (1) for the steering accumulators will warn the operator when the pressure in the steering system is below the deactuation pressure of the pressure switch.
Note: Both of the warnings that are generated by these pressure switches are Warning Category 3. The action alarm will sound and the alert indicators will flash.
Note: A warning will only be displayed if the ground speed is above 8 km/h (5 mph).
