Some machines experience a change in the adjustment of the lower sieve due to the flat linkage between the adjusting handle and the sieve louvers warping or bending. The improved linkage is made of round bar stock which resists warping and bending. The improved linkage will give more uniform adjustment of the lower sieve.

Inspect the sieve adjustment linkage for the flat linkage between the adjusting handle and the sieve louvers. Illustration 1 shows the round linkage. Install a 187-6364 Sieve Lever Kit if a flat linkage is discovered.
