Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Note: The HH65 Harvester Head is shown in this procedure. Other harvester heads are similar.

1. Place the rod end of tilt cylinder (3) in position on the frame. Install pivot pin (5). Pivot pin (5) is installed from the outside of the frame. Install the nut on pivot pin (5) .

2. Connect hydraulic hose assembly (2) to tilt cylinder (3) .

3. Extend tilt cylinder (3). Place the head end of tilt cylinder (3) in position on the harvester head.

4. Install pivot pin (1). Pivot pin (1) is installed from the inside of the harvester yoke. Install the nut on pivot pin (1) .

5. Connect hydraulic hose assembly (4) to tilt cylinder (3) .

6. Lubricate the bearing at each end of the cylinder through the provided fittings. Use 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease .
