Procedure to Adjust the Transmission Control Linkage
The transmission control linkage must be adjusted if transmission control lever (4) comes in contact with guide (5) in any position. Adjust direction control cable (9) in order to move transmission control lever (4) to either side. Adjust speed cable (8) in order to move transmission control lever (4) to the front or to the rear .
- Remove bolts (11) that hold cover (10) in order to adjust either cable.
- Loosen the locknut of the cable that needs to be adjusted. Turn cover (10) in order to adjust control lever (4) . Turn cover (10) so that control lever (4) does not contact the guide in any position.
Procedure to Adjust the Neutral Start Switch
- Engage parking brake lever (7) . The position is shown.
- Adjust switch (6) until the roller is touching plate (1) .
- Rotate switch (6) by another three-fourths turn. Then rotate the switch until the roller is aligned with plate (1) .
