Seat Adjustment

Usage:

D250E II 4PS
The operator's seat that is provided with this machine is in compliance with the appropriate class of "ISO 7096".

Note: Adjust the seat for a different operator or at the beginning of each shift.

The operator should be seated against the seat backrest. Adjust the seat so that the operator is allowed full travel of the foot controls.

Fore/Aft Lever (1) - Pull up on the fore/aft lever in order to move the seat forward or backward. Adjust the seat to the desired position. Release the fore/aft lever in order to lock the seat in position.


Seat Cushion Tilt Lever (2) - Pull up on the seat cushion tilt lever in order to tilt the front of the seat cushion. Adjust the seat cushion to the desired position. Release the seat cushion tilt lever in order to lock the seat cushion in position.


Seat Angle Lever (3) - Pull up on the seat angle lever in order to adjust the angle of the seat backrest. Adjust the angle of the seat backrest to the desired position. Release the seat angle lever in order to lock the seat backrest in position.


Weight Adjustment Switch (4) - Pull up on the weight adjustment switch in order to increase the seat height. When you pull up on the switch for the weight adjustment a compressor is activated. Push down on the weight adjustment switch in order to reduce the seat height. Adjust the seat height until indicator (5) is in the green zone. The indicator can be anywhere within the green zone. The indicator does not need to be in the middle of the green zone. This allows the seat height to be adjusted for different operators. Adjust the seat to the desired height with the indicator anywhere in the green zone.


Damper Control (6) - Use the damper control to adjust the stiffness of the seat suspension.


Stiffer - Turn the control clockwise in order to make the seat suspension stiffer.


Softer - Turn the control counterclockwise in order to make the seat suspension softer.


Lumbar Lever (7) - Turn the lumbar support lever clockwise in order to increase the amount of support for your lower back.

Seat Armrest (8) - The angle of the seat armrest can be adjusted. Lift the seat armrest and turn the knob (9) in order to adjust the angle of the armrest. Lower the armrest and check that the angle is comfortable. Use the knob to adjust the angle of the armrest until the position is comfortable. The knob is locked when the armrest is fully lowered.

Extension for Backrest (10) - The extension for the backrest can be removed. Pull up on the extension in order to remove the extension from the seat.
