Illustration 1 identifies the oil ports that are located on the center housing (X) of the transmission. The following ports route oil for the engagement of the speed clutches: 1, 2, 3, A, B and C. The following ports route oil for engagement of the directional clutches: F1, F2 and R. The ports that are identified as L route oil for lubrication of the clutches. The ports that are identified as S route oil to the common sump.

The LV identifies the lubrication relief valve (Y). The lubrication relief valve (Y) consists of the following items: valve, spring and plug. The lubrication relief valve (Y) is pressed into the mounting face of the transmission hydraulic control. The lubrication relief valve has an opening pressure of 280 kPa (40 psi). The relief valve is not adjustable.
