Usage:
1. Remove fuel injection pump housing and governor from the engine as a unit.
2. Remove the governor high idle screw cover (1).

3. Remove the rack stop collar retaining screw (2).

4. Remove rack stop collar (3), spring (4), and collar (5).

5. Remove governor housing-to-adapter assembly retaining bolts (6).

7. Remove the governor high idle spring (9) and seat assembly (8).

8. Remove the cylinder and weight assembly retaining bolts (10) and lock.

9. Remove the cylinder and weight assembly (11).
10. Remove the adapter assembly retaining bolts and remove adapter assembly (12) from the fuel injection pump housing.

Install Governor
1. Position adapter assembly (12) on fuel injection pump housing so slot in adapter (13) is engaged with groove in rack (14).
INSTALLING ADAPTER HOUSING

2. Position the cylinder and weight assembly (11) on the adapter assembly (12) and install retaining bolts and lock.
INSTALLING GOVERNOR DRIVE

3. Install the seat assembly and governor high idle spring in governor housing.
4. Position the governor housing (7) on the adapter assembly (12) and install retaining bolts (6).

5. Install spring (4), collar (5), and rack stop collar (3).

6. Install the rack stop collar retaining screw (2).
7. Install the fuel injection pump housing and governor on the engine as a unit. Set the rack and adjust the governor. See the topics FUEL RACK SETTING and GOVERNOR ADJUSTMENTS in the TESTING AND ADJUSTING section of the Service Manual.
